Mgliwe Simdinatome

Mgliwe is the country leader of Togo. He is husband to Odjo and father of 2 boys. The picture above is of he and his son, Lautier when he turned 2. He has been working on spreading the name of Jesus through our GC2 training process and through children’s ministry in his church. His blog is j-lifetogo.blogspot.com if you want to follow or read up more on what’s happening in Togo. Below is a picture of some of the guys in training with Mgliwe.
Words from Mgliwe:
As we know the problems of Togo is just the problems of the many African countries like: corruption, lake of skilled leadership, poverty, aids, lake of initiatives, lake of Hope...
We believe that today the Gospel of Jesus can change the situation and transform people to love God and love each other. Young people will be then impacted to influence their families, communities, nation.
J-life Togo has taken the challenge to mobilize a disciplemaking youth movement in Togo throughout the Church of Jesus Christ by recruiting top leaders, equipping them to go to equip others in their churches.
This website will let you discover our various activities
God bless you

Michael and his wife Monica live in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is the country leader of Tanzania.  He and his wife supplement their support with a ‘tent making’ business of making bread. J-Life is in its second year of using micro loans to help our country leaders support their families and their ministry. Below is the picture of the bread machine that Michael and his wife will use. This was provided by the micro loan. We have tent making projects up and going in several countries. If you would like to know more about helping with these micro loans or just information please contact David at dave@jlife.org.za

FLORENCE of CAMEROON

Florence is our Country Leader in Cameroon. She is a wife, mother to many (2 of her own), and leader of a youth discipleship movement of the French speaking countries in Africa. She recently held a GC2 (Great Commission and Great Commandment) group which is a small group that meets and learns about the life of Jesus and how He did ministry. Each person in this group must take along side of them 6-8 individuals that they can teach what they have learned. Each of these 6-8 people take 2 people to transfer their learning onto. Below is her picture of her group and her explanation.

Grace's baptism

Grace's baptism...

We are so blessed to have Grace's baptism in March. I still remember the day I was baptized in what is now the Rock at FBC McKinney. I was baptized with my twin sister, Savannah and our two of our dearest friends. Such a sweet time with Grace and all of our South African friends and "family". We had several childhood friends of our kids and several youth from our church be baptized. What a blessing!

JLife Summit 2012
I am wondering now where February and March have gone! J-Life Summit happened the end of February in which all our our J-Life Country Leaders and some of our key partners meet together. It is a week full of reunions, sweet Jesus stories, business updates and much more. It is such a sweet time hearing the way the Lord has worked all over Africa in the last year. We are super excited in adding some new countries including Uganda, Rwanda and Lesotho. We also have the added advantage of countries like Swaziland, Malawi and Zambia who have been established in their countries doing ministry for many years.
March found David off to India to attend a conference of Global Youth Initiative (GYI). They meet annually at a different location and David was blessed to get to attend this year. Many of our fellow youth ministries belong to GYI and it is amazing to see what the Lord is doing.
Jesus stories to come in the following additions!
