STeM

Hello Friends!! June has been an
exciting month for all of us! J-Life
hosted our yearly STeM training
which stands for Short Term
Equipping Mission. Young leaders
from all over Africa come and train
for 4 days then go and serve in a
near by community for 5 days. Our
teams were in 4 different
communities over the last week of
June and first week of July. We
held Holiday Bible Clubs (VBS),
sports clinics, evening services
with dance and drama. The point
of this training is so that the
leaders can reproduce this in their
own youth group.
Another exciting event in our little
church here in our town was that
our youth group went on their own
mission trip. Many of our leaders
have attended STeM in the last
couple of years. Because David
and I were helping with STeM we
were unable to go, but look
forward to seeing what the Lord
has done.
In each of the communities
impacted there were people who
came to know the Lord, people
reunited with the Lord and also
leaders of churches encouraged
by our teams being there!

Praises

Matthew and Grace have finished with exams!! WHOOP!
100 youth leaders were trained and equipped for missions!!
Tarisayi, Zimbabwe Country Leader has been able to raise funds for Labola (monies to marry)
We had 2 ‘Summer’ Interns for 8 weeks. Madelyn Cunningham was here from FBC McKinney.
We are able because of your support to continue to raise up Leaders for Africa!!
